Artistic Breeze by Kieron Rennie
Embrace steep hills
for moments of solitude – for peace,
let blades of grass caress the knees.
Here birds play their symphony
the pound of feet; meets self-belief.
A view of London hardly seen.
The bleed of spray-can is his relief:
picnics of three, uneven teams.
The rush of ice beneath the feet.
Some seek refuge among the trees:
from cycling thoughts and glaring screens.
I held a pen – I held a lens
knowing inspiration has no end.
